ALFA Journal
Saved articles.
Your reading list and marked-as-read progress are stored in this browser. You can remove bookmarks, unmark an article, or clear this website’s local storage in your browser settings.
Search.
Article search runs in your browser. It does not create an account or transmit a search profile to the Journal.
Enquiries.
When you submit the form, we store your name, email address, organisation, language, enquiry details and the article or reading path that referred you. The ALFA team uses this information to respond. Enquiries are removed from the Journal database after 180 days unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Information subsequently retained in business correspondence is managed separately. Do not submit identity documents, account credentials or confidential financial records.
Language choices.
Choosing a translated language opens Google Translate in a new tab and sends Google the public page address, including selected reading filters. Google provides the automatic translation under its own terms and privacy policy. Images remain unchanged. Use the original ALFA website to submit an enquiry. Your language preference is saved in this browser.
Analytics and external websites.
We count page views, reading activity, enquiries and external referrals using first-party aggregate statistics. We do not set analytics cookies, keep visitor identifiers, store search terms or build individual browsing histories. Statistics are retained for up to 365 days. Your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings are respected. A daily salted network hash helps limit abusive submissions and is deleted after two days; raw network addresses are not stored in our database. The hosting provider may process technical access logs. Linked websites have their own privacy policies.
